Skater girl - Can Diabetes improve your life?  No?  Well, I believe it improved mine.  Dramatically.

With the amazing supportive staff they helped me manage my sugars to more realistic healthy levels. I am now happy and healthy and living with an insulin pump that lets me feel normal again.

Collective effort from the Diabetes West team (Doctor, Sisters & Dietician) and myself on CDE programme helped me to achieve results that I could never have imagined.

Having just been diagnosed as a diabetic and battling to come to terms with being a diabetic, my initial fears were soon dispelled after my consultation with Sister Leisha Genade and subsequently with Dr Dickson. The programmes offered by the clinic are extremely beneficial and certainly helps in maintaining the lifestyle required and not to fear and fret being a diabetic.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Thank-you Dr Dickson, Thank-you!

Those 5 days were the most amazing where I was able to not only learn about diabetes but meet other diabetics from all over and also to learn from them.
